How to make a homemade pontoon boat 55 gallon drum?

I have about 10 plastic drums of 55 gallons at my disposal and was wanting to make a pontoon boat from them, I just wanted to get some ideas

I think a little could strap em to a frame. If your strips on 'em firmly at the bottom, you can frame around 'em to freeze' em. If you plan to be floated in which half is above the waterline and the bottom half, each support about 234 pounds * less * the weight of the battery itself. So with the 10 drums you could use about 2300 pounds of construction materials (* unless * the weight of the battery). Try to get the weight evenly distributed. Unless you can find a way to add planing strakes on drums, will have a displacement vessel – will not go very fast, no matter how much power hang in there. I'm thinking about 40hp max … it will be an awkward beast, difficult to control. But I'll be your stupid beast!
