How to find a Federal Indentification number?

I recently purchased a small boat through DirectBoats.com which then sold me a boat directly from Bass Hunter Boats. I am now trying to register the boat up here in MA and the sales tax form is asking for the “Federal Identification #”. Should the “seller information” be about Directboats.com or about BassHunter Boats? And where do I find this Federal Identification #? I have the bill of sale/ manufacturers certificate of origin but I do not see it on there.

Boats don’t have a Federal Identification number, they have a hull identification number. It is located on the starboard side of the transom and is molded into the hull. The seller is Direct Boats, the manufacturer is Bass Hunter Boats

THE clearest way of showing the ideas and principles which ought to be the guiding ones in such a construction, is to simply describe in detail a complete design, all along giving the reasoning why such or such an arrangement has been adopted. This will illustrate the many practical difficulties of the problem, and will in the most positive way answer the numerous questions which naturally occur to every one who takes the trouble to think over the matter. The essential point of this vessel is that it is able to dive down at any time, and continue its course under water for a considerable distance. This is attained by giving the vessel two different modes of propulsion, namely, steam and electricity. The steam-power enables it to move along the surface of the water, just as would do most of ourmodern men-of-war, if we take away their light upper part. When the vessel dives down, the electric motors are thrown into gear, and thus she may go on under the water, as long as there is any electricity in her electric storage-cells. PT Boats $15.43 Motor torpedo boat development began in the early 1900s and the vessels were first put into active service during World War I. However, it was not until the late 1930s that the US Navy commenced the development of their Patrol Torpedo or PT boat program. The PT boat, or the "mosquito boat" as they were sometimes known, was originally envisioned for attacking larger warships with torpedoes using its "stealth" ability, high-speed, and small size to launch and survive these attacks. However, they were actually employed more frequently in a wide variety of other missions, many which were unforeseen by developers and planners, including rescuing General MacArthur and his entourage from the Philippines. Often taking on larger and better armed enemies these craft became famous for punching above their weight and were firmly thrust into the limelight by John F. Kennedy who while serving as a lieutenant on a PT-109 in the Pacific Theater heroically saved his fellow crew members winning him the Navy and Marine Corps Medal. This book examines the design and development of these unique craft, very few of which survive today and goes on to examine their role and combat deployment in both World Wars.
