Stratos Ceiling Fan $660 The Stratos was the first truly modern ceiling fan, it has no reference to the Victorian era design which still dominates the fan industry. Amongst its innovations was the column like support in place of the down rod used on other fans. This larger scale down rod gives the fan an impression of secure attachment to the architectural space and virtually eliminates the wobble so often seen in conventional fans. The patented rotor ends the problems of balance and tedious assembly required with the classic blade iron configuration. The Stratos is all die-cast and extruded aluminum and offered in either a gloss white or a hand brushed aluminum finish.
